HEY, I'M JOSEPH!
I’ve been working professionally as an illustrator for nearly 15 years. As someone who proudly considers themselves self-taught, I’m passionate about sharing the techniques, tools, and creative insights I’ve picked up along the way—from the artists who inspired me to the books that shaped my craft.
From my cat-filled studio in northern Ohio, I’ve had the pleasure of working with comic giants like Image, Dark Horse, and Valiant, as well as publishers such as Random House, Penguin, and Insight Editions.
My weapon of choice? Ink. Using nibs, pens, and brushes, I focus on capturing detail, contrast, and emotion using just one color.
